Hello blog-o-sphere! It's been awhile and I feel like a good blog is in order every now and again, although I am making no promises for this to be good!
Most of you already know that grad school has been pretty challenging for me! I am glad that I took three classes this semester, to start the madness off. What an experience that has been! I find that I often bite off more than I can chew, and I can admit it. What is it they say about acknowledging you have a problem is the first step to recovery?? Needless to say, I will be scaling back my academics this summer, and will enjoy a leisurely single class. Thanks to everyone who has been supportive and encouraging! I'm hoping for a 4.0--we'll see what happens!
So other than school and work, life has been a whirlwind of lots of driving and time with my <3's.
Speaking of which, my little baby brother Tyler turned 18 this past week!! HAPPY BELATED TY! I can't believe how grown up he is. A senior in high school, driving....I am gettin' old! I am also proud of him, he got accepted to Seton Hill and Robert Morris! It's weird watching siblings grow up....but Ty is amazing and I'm sure will do so well wherever he ends up...
I'm sorry this sounds like a Christmas newsletter (Beth, you should love it!)! Life is good and sweet! I am thankful for so many things, and i'm even more grateful for the grace God has given to me and everyone around me.
Coming up are some fun summer things: working weddings (one coming up on Saturday!), attending three weddings (one in Arkansas), Creation, hopefully a trip to see Leslie sometime, Tyler's graduation and grad party, Donovan's first birthday and of course all those memories that will be made from the spontaneous times this summer is sure to bring!!
