Today I decided there are just TOO MANY relative things in the world. The fact of the matter is that we need absolutes. Perhaps it is my black and white personality (and ethnic background...sorry bad joke!!) that makes me feel this way. One of my favorite quotes to date:
"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
Rings as true now as it did when I was in 7th grade and heard it for the first time. I just feel like the moment I start making decisions based on anything relative it leads down a precarious path. Relativism is not my friend.
