Reality Check

I can't even believe it's October. Officially fall- this indian summer has been heavenly though! It's been a little over a month since I moved to Gibsonia- time is flying by! I've loved being here and I look forward to the memories and fun times to come!

This past weekend was pure insanity in my life. It was homecoming at Westminster, my littles bachelorette party and my mom's surprise 50th birthday party. So essentially, I didn't have a weekend in the traditional sense.

Being at WC was so nice, and surreal. The campus hasn't changed at all, but walking through the dorms and other buildings made me realize how much I have changed. When I was there, I couldn't imagine coming back and feeling out of place. I don't even know if that's the right terminology, I didn't feel out of place, I just felt like I had grown bigger than who I was when I was in college.

I saw familiar places and faces, and yet I finally realized that Westminster really isn't home anymore (irony- "Homecoming"). Don't get me wrong, I adored being there, but life goes on after college.
