Most of you know that I recently took my GRE. Many of you have even been thoughtful enough to ask how I did. I wish I could answer that. When I took them, a little screen popped up that told me I would recieve my scores in the mail in 10-15 days. That was on May 15th.
It is presently June 20th and my scores have yet to grace my mailbox. I started getting suspicious a few weeks ago, so I called the GRE hotline and was told to call back if I still didn't recieve them in a week. One week later I called back only to discover that they were sent to 5349 Chapel Hill Court. Not my address. So, apparently, they are being sent to my real address. We'll see about that! As I said before, I still have no clue how I did!
However! I did recieve another exciting piece of mail yesterday morning! Acceptance into Duquesne!!! Yay! I am so excited! Grad school has been taunting me since I graduated from WC. I have always had the desire to go, but I decided to see if I really wanted to go, or if I was just using grad school to delay getting a job. But I've been working for 3 years and the desire has not gone away. So I took the plunge and applied for a dual degree progrom at DU--an MA in Corporate Communications and an MS in Media Technology. So my cup of tea! I can't wait to get back in the classroom (yes I just typed that!). I love learning and I am ready to go to the next level in my educational life.
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me through this process--My wonderful parents, best Mia, Dr. Deisler, Terra and Shawn for those wonderful letters of reccomendation. You all get A+'s in my book! And thanks to everyone who prayed for me! I may need more prayers upon recieving my first bill!
