Hello Everyone!
After being dubbed the queen of bad blogging by Patty, and being reprimanded by my new boss Dan(not really), I figured I must throw in the towel and blog, even though inspiration alludes me.
I have several random thoughts/stories to share, but they are incoherent. Bear with me.
1. When I blogged a few blogs ago about being sick, I lied.
Thankfully, I did not get sick at that point. I truly did become sick on Sunday evening, and missed work yesterday because I sounded like and felt like Cruela Deville. Today, i'm back at work, but still sounding like Cruela but feeling better. If you call me, don't be alarmed, it's truly me. I was talking to Dan on Monday about feeling completely drained and he said "sounds like you need a vacation"--well perhaps God lets us get sick to force us to slow things down and take a vacation. Thanks God! :) My "sick day" was nice- I slept the majority of the day, watched Sense and Sensibility (one of my faves!), caught up on Season 5 of The Office online (that is, when my computer would stay on. I still have yet to replace my battery that turns off if I breathe the wrong way.) I had a nice surprise when Melissa, one of the most thoughtful people ever, came over to bring me some Cream of Broccoli soup from Eat N Park! It was glorious!

I thought the fall would be slower than the summer. Not so. I have been running around like nuts! My church is doing a month long fundraising effort for Lifeline International, our mission in Cambodia. Every weekend this month I have something going on at home, which i've really been enjoying, but it surely is time consuming! Maybe November will be slower??? Oh, wait....never mind.
3. My nephew Donovan is the MOST PRECIOUS BABY ever. I get to see him every weekend and it's been a blast. I don't know how mom's, let alone single mom's do it! Baby's are hard work! Donovan is a gem, but I now know what it means when my mom told me you "die to self" when you have a baby! I also have come to realize that I am a VERY light sleeper. When he cries at night, I am wide awake, while everyone else (besides my mom) sleeps away. When this happened, i'll never know!4. I have been doing an informal poll of my own with the upcoming elections on the horizon. With the media telling us all that one candidate is significantly doing better than another candidate, I have been trying to be more aware of yard signs when i'm driving. I would like to report that I have not seen a significant variance in yard signs in the Gibsonia, Robinson, Upper Saint Claire areas. Now take me to Squirrel Hill, and i'm sure there would be a different story.
It is Wednesday! Yay! I am glad I wrote a blog. It has been burdening me that I have not.

Yeah Jaime!! Good blog! However, McCain signs are running 9:1 in the Gibsonia area. I count every night on my way home from work
