Being Beth's Shadow

Today, I had no car (another blog, another time when i'm not so riled up.) It is quite convenient that my room mate is also my boss and work mate (accept when she bosses me around at home, like we're at work...just kidding!). Beth came and picked me up last night on Wildwood Road at approx. midnight where I was broken down and almost suffering hypothermia. She was a white knight arriving in her newly washed white van. She rides in style.

Anyways! This morning, I accompanied her to Pittsburgh to pick up a friend and former resident from McGee Hospital. (and her little baby!) What an ordeal! On the way to the hospital, we made a pitt stop to pick up another resident and take him to school. Beth stayed up beat through it all. We got gas, Beth got coffee and we split a pop tart. On to the hospital!! We arrived, only to see a little old lady struggling at the exit with her parking ticket. There was a huge line of cars behind her, each driver looking annoyed. What does Beth do?? She hops out of her van, crosses the line of traffic and helps the woman with her ticket! Good deed of the day done?? Check.

We get into the parking garage and Beth shares with me her dislike of garages. (it did feel like we were going to scrape the top). Any ways!!! We get in to the hospital and help pack up our friend....that took about 1 hour. We leave, and make our way to Panera for a much needed pitt stop for lunch. We then picked up our friends car (I drove it, surprisingly it didn't break down...I think I have the black curse with cars......), drove to Ninevah (aka Butler) and dropped off everyone and everything we had. Then we came back to the Lighthouse.

I am EXHAUSTED. I don't know how Beth does this everyday!! See her blog from yesterday. It's NUTS. I seriously feel like I was hit by a MAC truck. I am almost glad I have no car right now because I am not going to class tonight, I need the BREAK.
