I used to think that multi-tasking was a strength of mine...

Today was just one of those days. Actually this week is one of those weeks. So many things going on all the time, I sometimes feel constantly frazzled (that doesn't make sense gramatically, but you get the point). So after working a long day, fighting my way through traffic to get to school, I needed a re-charge.

I don't drink coffee, but I thought Starbucks tea would be a nice little treat. When I got in the store, I made a snap decision to get hot chocolate with whipped cream! Every week I see college students walking through campus drinking drinks from Starbucks...no problem! As I start walking away from the counter, I take a sip, and immediately I spill some on myself. I stop, re-adjust the lid, make sure it's on tight, and try walking and taking another sip. I look down, and there is a huge spill on my turtle neck. Thankfully, I am wearing red, so I am able to camouflage the predicament.

Long story short, I spilled my hot chocolate five times in about 45 yards of walking. I have never noticed that I am uncoordinated to this degree, but I reached a point today when I actually started laughing out loud at myself! So all in all, my Starbucks did make me smile, but not for the reasons I thought it would. It made me smile because I looked like a toddler just learning to drink from a cup.
