Tonight I had a date with the law. Traffic Court. A month ago, I got a ticket (apparently) the weekend I worked a wedding in East Liberty. However, said ticket was no where to be found, and I was unaware of it until I got a notification that my original $11.00 ticket had compounded late fees and was now $49.00.Immediately, I called the number on my fine sheet, and after non-sensically rambling my excuses to the poor secretary that schedules appointments (I'm sure she hears the BEST excuses every day...and most of them are probably fabricated), had a traffic court appointment.
When I went to leave for my hearing, what is on my windshield where my par is parked on the front of my apartment? A TICKET. Thursday is street cleaning day in Coraopolis...... yes, street cleaning still exists!
Anyways, I was victorious at traffic court.

Amount Paid $11.00
Parking Cost for traffic court: $5.00
NEW ticket: $5.00
Total amount paid to Mayor Luke/whoever is mayor of Coraopolis: $21.00
