A Year's Worth of Thankfulness...

Obviously, a Thanksgiving post is cliche, but it's that time of year where we all realize the things we have to be grateful for. I am overwhelmed with thankfulness of all the things God has done in my life this past year.

I was reading over my blog post from last November when my family lost their house--thinking about that time is still hard, but the blessings of God have really poured out on my parents, two of the most deserving people I know. They have made their new home so cozy and welcoming, and the space is perfect for them and my siblings. I never suspected that I'd be given the opportunity to live so close to them this year. When I moved two blocks down from them in June, I was thrilled! Being able to stop by every day, even if just to say hi, has been SO AMAZING. =)

Obviously getting engaged to the <3 of my life has been a big highlight and something I'm SUPER thankful for!!! This has been such an exciting time, and I am really looking forward to next year, when I'll be spending my first Thanksgiving ever as a married woman!!! So crazy!

I am thankful for the health and prosperity of all my family and friends! These are the things that matter. We, as a nation, are extremely blessed. Things may not always be the way we like them, but we still have more than any other country in the world!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am thankful for you!
