Billy Blanks

Today I was eating lunch in the kitchen when our cook, JoLynn, asked me if the boot camp Beth and I are going to start going to is taught by Billy Banks. I don't know why, but that really made me laugh. Why, in heavens name, would Billy Banks be teaching at Lake Vue Gym in Valencia, Pa??

What does she think, that we are celebrities?

Then....my mind started wandering, and I came up with a few reasons why people may assume that Beth and I are of movie star status:

1. Beth frequents Pitt b-ball games, normally in VIP seats on a consistent basis. Clearly, a celebrity does these same things.
2. Beth has two cell phones. That's pretty celebrity like. (One for close friends, one for admirers/agent)
3. Our cat wears a purple sparkly collar. That's pretty celebrity-ish
4. We will be found jet-setting to Malibu this summer for a wedding on the coast, perhaps to Vegas for the bachelorette party. Celebrities potentially to be in attendance, Kenneth Starr, Paul Walker, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mary Huebert, Brian Lang.

So, then I realized Beth is way more like a celebrity than me. But, I am cool by association. Take for instance, Britney Spear's (Beth) and Alli Simms (Me). Or, FreshPrince and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Jessica Simpson and Caccee Cobb. All of these people, are on semi-celebrity status bc of their truly famous friends.

Okay, well, now that you have lost brain cells from reading this, I am going to get back to work!
