To Resolve or Not To Resolve...

That is the question.

I have very mixed feelings about New Years Resolutions. I think the concept is fabulous- resolving to do things that make you a better person most of the time. But I recently read an article in "Body and Soul" magazine about resolutions, and ways to make more positive ones. I haven't really thought about what my resolutions for this year would be--but if I were to make some, here would be a couple of them:

1. Join a gym--so cliche, I know but still, I have to include it!

2. Spend more time with God, on a more consistent basis--I know I have to be deliberate about this, and maybe posting it for all the world to see will keep me more accountable.

3. Streamline and de-clutter my life-in all areas. Relationships, thought processes, daily activities, I just want to be more efficient and deliberate.

4. Focus of the positive in every situation. Instead of having a negative POV(point of view), I "resolve" to trust that God is in control all of the time, not some of the time! As my mom always says..."He didn't fall off the throne!" and He never will.

Just a little sampling of my resolutions, if I were to have some...

=)

Happy New Years everyone!

You should join Lakevue. It's fun working out with old people. =) And it's not usually very crowded. I like your resolutions - especially your mom's quote!
