For some time, i've been contemplating this blog. Yes, I must have too much free time. Has anyone else noticed the distinct differences in bottled water? I have asked Beth, and she said no. I have always noticed that certain bottled water tastes better than others. How can this be so? They are all just water. I have checked the ingredients. They all say "Contents:Water". According to this blog I found, Americans spent $15 billion on bottled water last year!
My former favorite bottled water was Dasani, but I have noticed that Aquafina has stepped up their game, and now has a similiar taste. Waters I hate: Deer Park, Nestle and Wal-Mart. Giant Eagle is AWESOME. Water is so great--since I don't drink pop, I really focus on the taste of bottled water. (if you haven't noticed) It's not about cost, it's about taste. I will admit thought, I do LOVE Voss, which can run at $3.00 a pop. (I do not like it because LinLo likes it too-but I do feel a little cool when i'm sipping it) I have owned a Brita watcher pitcher since my freshman days of college, and I swear by it. Tap water gives me the hee-bee-jee-bees. At every restaurant, I order water with lemon, and on days i'm feeling wild-I go for lime. *slight sidenote--I do not like those packets of water flavoring like gatorade to go,or lemonade to go. If you want gatorade or lemonade, buy gatorade or lemonade. Don't defile the bottled water, at least don't defile mine!
The Lighthouse got literally 3453 million bottles of water donated after a power outage, and I have to admit, this water is not good. There is a slight hint of dirt in the aftertaste. Water should be refreshing, not make you want to brush your teeth afterwards.
How I got to be such a water snob, i'll never know.

Jon is a huge Aquafina fan. Won't drink any other kind. He is a water snob, too!!
I would have to say that the Giant Eagle water is the worst tasting. As far as the Lighthouse goes, I like that stuff. Aquafina = always a sure bet.
I've noticed that cheap water seems to get a plastic taste. This is probably my only water pet peeve. =)
i do agree about the dirt flavor aftertaste for the stuff at the lighthouse...
and hee bee jee bees.... def adding that to my list!!! my first born: Gnatalie hee bee jee bees Blouse.
Haha! You are too much!
I like Voss the best. BTW, I heard Disani (which is made by Coke) has just enough salt in it to make you thirsty for another bottle. I'm not sure if there is any truth to that, but I have to admit that is why I never buy Disani.
