Off Week

Did you ever have one of those weeks? You know, when crazy shenanigans happen and they just KEEP happening?

Well that has been my week! Looking back on the last month or so, however I can see that maybe it's been happening longer than just one week. It all started with my car wreck. That night, I somehow lost my mail key. My theory is that the key flew from my change holder onto Route 8 and someone picked it up, thinking it was a piece of valuable gold. (just a theory)

Then last week at small group, I lost my leather glove! Not a huge loss, as I purchased the gloves at TJ Maxx for like $4.00. About 5 years ago. And plus Patty did find it yesterday, so I guess that one is crossed out.

Somehow, I lost my license this past weekend. Not like the police took it, but I lost my physical ID. I have NO IDEA where I lost it. So today i'm headed to the DMV for a new one. Which is okay with me, because my last one is from college and involves some very chunky and unnatural looking golden highlights. No comment.

THEN I asked Beth to return some DVD's to the library for me this week and lo and behold, I get a call from them telling me that I left my debit card in the case! What in the world!? How did this happen? I have not a clue! Thank goodness librarians are prone to be honest, huh?!

The real clincher. I was cleaning up my laptop this week and somehow deleted my ENTIRE I TUNES LIBRARY. I was able to restore most of it through trickery and bribes (don't ask how you bribe a computer, but it is possible) but still! I lost my most recent purchases due to incompetence. Yikes!

The above occurences are not typical in my life. Ask my mom, I hate losing things! I will tear open heaven and earth until I find what i'm looking for! Hopefully this kick of forgetfullness/losing things will stop soon! Oy vey!

I have had a weird week full of unusual twists and surprises (not welcome ones), all school-related. And we're waiting on bated breath for my sister to have her baby, and my mom is planning on driving down to KY the second she gets the call. But your week/last several weeks are just extremely weird!! Losing all those things... that's so frustrating! And with everything else you have going on, too!
