Reality

I heard a quote yesterday in our staff meeting that I really like. Thought i'd share it with you all:

View reality from God's perspective.

Now I thought about this, and I realize that this is the hardest thing for me to do. Mainly because I don't think like God does! But it is a great reminder that our version of reality isn't really what is going on. In fact, there are normally things happening in the background that completely reverse the situation! I will be the first to admit having a slightly jaded perspective as of late with all the things that have been going on with my family and other loved ones. I easily let myself get dragged down by all the situations that don't seem to get better. But what IS better? Any situation that makes us grow or learn DOES make us better. Those growing pains I sometimes resent. But they are so necessary. I just needed to be reminded that everything is in control-even when i'm not the one controlling it. And really, everything is working out for the greater good. This was something I needed to reconcile within myself and i'm glad I did.
