JaneAusten=the window to a womans soul

Many of you know that I am a Jane Austen Junkie. I love her!!!! Sadly, many of you may not know that for some reason, whatever it is, I can't read her books!! Something about her writing style makes me dizzy.It's a true misfortune, but thankfully Hollywood has opened the doors of Jane Austen wide open to me.

Many of you may be Jane Austen fans and not even know it! Movies like Clueless (based on Emma), Bridget Jones Diary 1&2 (Pride and Prejudice), and Bride and Prejudice (Bahli-wood P&P) are all modern day renditions of JA classics. I think the reason most women love these movies and books is because they are SO relatable. We can all remember the Wickhams, or Willoughby's in our own lives (the bad boyfriends/villians) and we all LOVE the Darcy's and the Bingleys!

Yesterday I was home sick and I watched Pride and Prejudice. I can't ever get enough of that movie! The Joe Wright version is my favorite-Matthew McFadden is the BEST Darcy--but i'll give Colin Firth his props too. Anyways, Jane Austen is a master mind. Thats all I have to say about that!
