No Fraank, Tell Haank that i'd like the chipper chicken...

It's my absolute favorite scene in Father of the Bride, George Banks has had it up to "here" (proverbially speaking) with wedding talk, wedding planning and most importantly, wedding costs. The chipper chicken is the only thing he can get cheaply!

All this talk of economic crises and uncertainty has got everyone a tad concerned. We are all trying to think of ways to save money here and there. My friend Pat wrote a great blog full of tips and suggestions on how 25-35ers are responding! Check it out. It's great!

I recently read an article in Readers Digest with some ways to get bargains on anything and everything! You know me and bargains/sleuthing and saving a dime! This was a Eureka moment!!

Some of my favorite tips?

http://www.retailmenot.com/ offers discount code lists for a TON of stores! I always wondered when I was shopping online where these discount codes come from! Now I have a huge data base! Oh happy Day!

http://www.pricegrabber.com/ is an EPIC comparison shopping site for those of you who wonder if there is a "better deal" out there--now you'll know!

http://www.hulu.com/ is a website where you can watch movies and TV shows for free! I have only visited it once to check on Desperate Housewives, and they didn't have the episode I wanted, but who's to say they won't have your must have TV show in their roster?

There are so many good sites featured in this article! From free online classes offered at MIT and Berkley, to learning another language for a five finger discount, this is the George Banks dream article! Enjoy-No chipper chicken for you tonight!
