Thanksgiving Week!

It's the week of my favorite holiday of the year! Thanksgiving!

I do believe my love for the holiday started in grade school, when we got to dress up colonial style, or as indians! We would make little hats, headdresses, buckles (for colonial shoes of course) in art class, and then strut our stuff for a Thanksgiving parade. We then would have Thanksgiving dinner for the whole school (all 45 of us!) and chose our angels (like secret santas) for the Christmas Party in a few weeks.

I love Thanksgiving for many reasons. I love the Macy's parade, college football, staying in my PJ's till really late in the day (oh wait...I do that pretty much any day I can!), going to the movies with my family, eating A LOT of food, movies, cuddling,games, more food, --I just can't get enough! There is a special feeling I get on Thanksgiving day. The warmth that accompanies this holiday goes beyond fabulous food!

I have so many fabulous things to be thankful for. I have blessed this year probably more than I've ever been. Most recently, I was in a car accident. I am okay-the other driver is okay. AND BIANCA is okay. I thought she was a goner. (Bianca is my car, for those of who you who don't know I name my cars). This situation could have worked out in a way I didn't desire. But it worked out! It's the little things that make my day--but this was a big thing that made it. (and I will still have a remote starter....)
