My latest shenanigan idea!

Last night, Beth and I were at the Gibsonia Buffalo Wild Wings, checkin' out our new "spot" for the summer months (yes, there is an outdoor seating area...)-when I decided to share with her my latest scheme.

I think it's pretty ingenious, but it may already exist--I will be doing some research on this, but before my bubble is possibly burst, I want to share it with you, my faithful blog audience.

I think i'm going to start a website that will have former bridesmaids dresses, listed for sale at a discounted price. They idea is bridesmaids can come onto the sight, register, and then list all of the dresses they have accumulated over the years by style number, color and size for sale. Then new bridesmaids can browse the sight, see if a dress they need is listed and buy it for cheaper than David's or their local bridal boutique.

For anyone who has seen 27 Dresses, you know how necessary this sight is. The scene in that movie when Katherine Heigl has a closet filled with bridesmaid dressess.Weddings are so fun to be in, I really love it! And I always ALWAYS say, "i'll shorten this dress and re-use it." To date, I have 5 bridesmaids dresses that have never been shortened. However one has been re-used for a sorority formal.

And I still have all the dresses "just in case" (just in case of what? I happen to marry a foreign prince and attend balls, in which I will just head right to the closet and wear an old bridesmaid dress??? I think not, i'd be hitting up some "sluething sales" for a new ball gown, no doubt) Thankfully, the dress I will be wearing in Mary's wedding this summer is already short and definitely re-wearable! Yay-thanks Mary!
