Shovels/Cobras/Disco Balls/Roxy

Thas been a good week for me!Just been fun in general. Work has been going well, we had our groundbreaking on Monday--awesome weather, two commisioners showed up, and the moms and kids at Kaufman Drive were a PR dream! All dressed adorable, smiling and wonderful--it was like the set of Leave It To Beaver or something....

Check out the Lighthouse blog for pics and details on our current events....

I tried a new class at Lakevue-Hatha Yoga! It was really nice, I loved relaxing and releasing all the tension from my day, but was slightly embarrased by the senior citizens who showed me up with their down dog, cobra and childs pose skills. There was no weird meditation, it was just a good stretch. And yes, i'm still sore a few days later. Next Monday, i'm trying a spinning class involving no lights and a disco ball. Blog to follow, be assured.

Last night, I got to see my girl Leslie. What an awesome person! She is really so inspiring--i've not met very many people as pure and good natured as her. Truly, she makes me want to be a better version of me. We went to The Roxy Cafe, one of my favorite restaurants, and spent hours talking and catching up. You'd think with all the technology there is, communication would be so much better, but IM, texts and email pale in comparison to a good cup of tea over a cool marble table and a girl friend. There never seems to be enough time to say everything you want to say, but that's alright, there's always next time....
