Life and Love and Why

Today's blog may be more non-sensical than usual. I don't have anything specific in mind to blog about, yet I find myself typing away. Such is a day in the life of me.

Another fun and memorable weekend has passed me by! Friday was my best, Maria's, birthday. Her family hosted a fabulous sweet-22 birthday party in the Southside Works at the Cheesecake Factory! It was a beautiful day, and it was a nice time! We went to see "Smart People" --an interesting movie staring Sarah Jessica Parker, Dennis Quaid and Ellen Paige-this movie was filmed right in Pittsburgh! It was really cool seeing CMU's campus, shots of Oakland, and downtown Pittsburgh.

Saturday, I made the trek up to Meadville, PA to go to my girl Terra's bridal shower. It was the quaintest get together i've been to in awhile! I felt really honored to be invited, and spend time with Terra, her family and friends. It's weird, how good friends come along! Terra and I used to work together when I was an AE at FSC, and she was doing communication/interactive work for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. What started as a business relationship has transformed into a wonderful friendship that I truly cherish! I can't wait for her big day in June! This girl is the Pittsburgh version of Posh Spice. Seriously, a fashion diva. Her wedding will be nothing short of a blast!

Sunday, I got to spend time with my favorite people in the world, my family! We had a great church service (with a sermon that I really needed to hear!) and then cooked out on our deck. It still amazes me how my parents respond to adversity. They are wonderful and amazing! And their perspective is down right refreshing. I love spending time with them, in our house. What memories we've had in that home...

That's all I can think of to type for now, i'll get some pictures up to go along with this blog soon. I know, you can hardly stand the anticipation!
