You can take the girl out of Pittsburgh...

...but you can't take the Pittsburgh out of the girl!

Anyone who knows me remotely well at all, knows that I love Pittsburgh. I love Pittsburgh for all the reasons most Pittsburghers do (Steelers, Primantis, PNC Park in the summer...the list goes on). Hands down, it might be my favorite place to be. I have been lots of places in the world, I love to travel, and I often think that I'd like to move to another city/state/country (while I'm still unattached without kids, as free as a bird!)-but I always say and know deep down know that Pittsburgh is the city where I want to get married, raise my kids, and grow old.

I love seeing new sites and places, but I can admit that I still get excited when I'm driving through the Fort Pitt tunnel, knowing that Pittsburgh will "smack me in the face" once I reach the other side. That view makes me so happy inside! And I'm pretty sure there is a smile on my face for all the world to see....even in the worst of traffic, weather or moods- that's one way I instantly have a brighter outlook on things.

However, being a Pittsburgh "native" I must admit that I didn't get to learn the city until I worked there for a year out of college. During that year, I feel in love with the city even more. Even right down to PAT (Port Authority Transportation). I even starred in a commercial where I could share my love....

There are other reasons to love Pittsburgh too-There are so many interesting things to do/see in Pittsburgh! Great restaurants, classy cultural events and some awesome history. If you don't go down there often, you should really give it a go! You might be surprised how much of downtown Pittsburgh is left to discover.

Hello Movie Star! Didn't know you were in a commercial! I watched it 3 times and made Jon watch it, too.
